It was a raptor day for Ann Doull. She found a short eared owl, 2 =
kestrels, a peregrine falcon, and a sharp shinned hawk in Big Island =
today (August 7, 2007)! She also thought she found a gull with black =
legs at the Point, too... Four little green winged teals were still =
there at McGee pond. No shore birds as the tide was high when she =
birded. No news about warblers or wood birds.=20

An adult non-breeding Laughing Gull was seen this evening on Big Island, =
Pictou County, on the beach side of the causeway, just west of the end =
of the wooden sand fence.
