Hi All
With much talk about bees, it is encouraging to see
many bees in my azaleas and rhodies while out weeding
and caring for the plants. Mostly Bumble Bees but lots
of various other insects as well. Carolinia Rhodo - a
nearly native species - although pale in color is very
popular with the bees.
Now if I could train one to make the pollen cross I
want for the next crop it would save some work!
Its interesting that they are very easy to grow from
seed here in NS, but rarely do you see one grow on its
own. Keeps the price up anyway!
Have a nice spring
Paul
