Hi:

Today there were 18 Black-bellied Plovers inside (N of) Rainbow Haven Beach
road, and a Greater Yellowlegs and a Whimbrel (same as earlier) on the beach at
Hartlen Pt.

No sign of the laggard Ipswich Sparrow at the latter site, and no support for
my earlier hypothesis that Bl.-headed Gulls might breed on the Cole Harbour
marshes.

Ian McLaren
