To: All' From: John Sollows date: April 7/07 This morning, about 11 A.M., my wife and I were driving from Hectanooga to Norwood, in Digby county, just before the turn at the railway crossing/ Yarmouth county line. A long, low, black beast flashed across the road about fifty feet in front of the car and disappeared into the forest. I caught a glimpse of it as it disappeared, but my wife had a better view. Said it was bigger than a cat and I concur, from the all-too brief glimpse I had. Tentative conclusion: fisher. (Some days, a lot of things happen!)
