We hiked the trail into the woods behind the Bayview subdivision in White's Lake, hauling out garbage left by ATV drivers this past winter -- lots of beer cans and bottles, and other junk. I heard my first Ruffed Grouse drumming of the year, always a welcome sign of spring.
