Hi there,

I noticed the following announcement in the Chronicle Herald late
last week. There was no information about this workshop on the HRM
website, however.

I hope someone will speak up for the waterfowl and the natural
values of Sullivan's Pond at this meeting. Many of us hate to see how it
has been "tidied up" in the last few years, and fear the same thing will
happen to adjacent Findlay Park, which still has some wild patches.

         Cheers,

         Patricia L. Chalmers
         Halifax
