Index of Subjects Hello Paul - Starting at the other end I have been across from Lake Jolly - 10 miles from Bear River - through 9-8-7-6- to 5 th lakes, and from there up sporting Lake Stream to Sporting Lake. At that point you are half way across. You can carry across from there to Oakland Lake, which drains into rivers that come across to the south shore. An old Indian told me that in the old days the Indians used to follow that route to get across to the ocean to lay in a supply of fish for the winter.
