Hi All During my tern decoy making activities, I noted a mouse just outside the basement window. As I expected it soon be inside keeping me awake - actually it would be keeping Rita awake - and she would keep me awake as a result, I decided to take action. Turned out it was a star nosed mole. I had often seen the results of their tunnels but never the actual mole. Interesting feature. big front feet for such a small animal. Anyway it is deep frozen out under the balcony if anyone should be in need just let me know. Tern decoys are going well. A few hiccups but not too many. Remains to be seen what the terns will think!
