Hi there,

No Purple Finches here to report (haven't seen any in months), but at
least one House Finch was singing its heart out to greet this morning's
mild temperatures. It was the first I have heard in song this year. I
heard it while walking to work near Conrose Field, an area in south end
Halifax where there is usually a flock of 6-8 around.

	Cheers,

	Patricia L. Chalmers
	Halifax
