It makes one wish to be on a plane bound for New Zealand. In places like New Zealand, Australia , parts of South America, etc., Comet McNaught is now far enough out from the sun in their skies that the full extent of the tail is visible in a darker sky, now very brightly showing off a marvelous head and tail brought about by its recent close encounter with the Sun. Have a look at today's SpaceWeather dot com Comet Gallery, page 12 http://spaceweather.com/comets/gallery_mcnaught_page12.htm Sherman Sherman Williams sherm@glinx.com website: http://www.glinx.com/~sherm On 19-Jan-07, at 11:21 AM, Terri Crane wrote: > Hi Gang > > Just a reminder to some that on the back side of this Weather Bomb > there's going to be great opportunities to view "Ocean" birds up > close on most all the headlands, bays and some harbours.
