OOPS!! forgot to change the subject title to something like "Comet
Update"; please forgive.

Comet watching can be a birding opportunity too! Most of the
evenings last week when I was comet watching (just after sunset) I
was amazed by the large numbers of ducks (probably Black Duck)
crossing the field of view. It seems that in the dusky light of
sunset they may have been converging on the large cornfields that lay
between myself and the horizon in the direction of the comet.
