I posted my Thursday observations and a photo sample of Comet
McNaught at http://www.glinx.com/~sherm/astro_note-jan07.htm . I
must say I feel extremely fortunate to have had 5 exciting
observation sessions with this great comet! Jan 7 (after sunset), Jan
9 (after sunset), Jan 10 (after sunset), Jan 11(mid afternoon daytime
observation) and Jan 11(after sunset).

Now I see it is coming into view on the LASCO C3 camera at the SOHO
site. http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/data/realtime-images.html

I have enjoyed reading your posted reports from yesterday and today.
Thanks.

Sherman
