Carol and I saw the Sandhill Crane in Rhodes Corner today.

Other notable sightings were:
- 2 Surf Scoters on LaHave River
- 3 Hooded Mergansers in Riverport
- 1 Black-headed Gull in Riverport
- 1 Black-headed Gull in Back Harbour, Lunenburg
- 1 Red-tailed Hawk at Mason's Beach
- 2 Northern Flickers at Mason's Beach
- 1 Iceland Gull at Blue Rocks
- 1 Belted Kingfisher at Mader's Cove

Although we saw a few more Hooded Mergansers, there certainly aren't the
number we used to see in that area
