This morning's sunrise at Crystal Crescent Beach PP was a jaw dropper, unbelievably vivid colours on the crystal clear horizon with the frigid mist rising over the water. There is magic in these winter mornings! Here's the link http://www.hanstoom.com/Highlights/Highlight79.html

I copied yesterdays posting to NatureNS but it seems to have disappeared again. I lose about one in three of my postings to this site. So, for those of you who didn't get it yesterday here it is again. http://www.hanstoom.com:80/Highlights/Highlight64.html Look for the Redwing.

The last photo in these series is a Downy Woodpecker who showed his tongue this morning at my PARD(peanut butter and lard) feeder.

Hans
