Hi Blake and everyone,

Québec won't be caught so easily this year. Bird Protection Quebec is conducting a very large "Big Year of Birding" contest in 2007 for their 90th Anniversary. Among the categories up for grabs are 'Big Year' and 'Highest Monthly Total' so there will be many more birders scouring the landscape for species in January and February than might normally be the case.

All the best,

Lance
