If the tag has fallen off this is = unfortunate since there were several more weeks of battery life left on = the tag. However, overall we are very pleased with the longevity of the = tags so far. One shearwater (Kaiva) is still off the coast of Argentina. =20 Although the names of the birds may imply a particular sex for each = bird, we have yet to sex each one and are hoping to do so through = genetic analysis of blood samples.
