Hi All Yesterday, Nov 1 being a very warm evening with little wind was a good evening for insects. I was sitting at a small lake observing what I could see. A lot of water striders still on the water. Small fish, prehaps perch were feeding on them from time to time. A few mosquitos tried for a final meal but were sent to mosquito heaven for their efforts. A bunch of wasps seemed to be making a maple tree home using an old rotted branch for a front door. A hard shelled black beetle landed on my hand. Wasn't very big or very dangerous so I brushed it off. A very large beatle flew by. Almost the size of a hummingbird but it wasn't. It knew where it was going and was anxious to get there. Looked like a 4 winged effort. Glad it didn't bit. There were also a few caddis flies still hatching. Late for them but maybe if they don't hatch they stay there until the warmth of spring gets them going. Anyway a few nice evening for November. Enjoy the fall Paul ____________________________________________________________________________________ Cheap Talk? Check out Yahoo! Messenger's low PC-to-Phone call rates (http://voice.yahoo.com)
