This morning I noticed a few lovely flowers of Deptford pink, Dianthus
armeria (name from Newcomb -- old?) along our driveway.  Also still in bloom
there is Queen-Anne's lace.  Also I'll bet that scentless chamomile is still
prolifically in bloom out on the dykelands between Wolfville and Grand Pre
-- this was true just a couple of days ago.
