Only 3 A. Wigeon,2 C. Goldeneye & 1 Snipe. Could hear lots of geese but did not see any.<br><br> <u>French Basin Trail</u> <br> - 4 pair Gadwall<br> - 14 Shoveller<br> - ~40 Green-winged Teal<br> - ~25 Black Ducks<br> - 2 pair Mallards<br> - 3 Pied-billed Grebes<br> - 11 Wood Ducks<br> - 10 Buffleheads<br> - 2 (fem.) Pintail <br> - 3 Ring-necked Ducks<br> - 1 Lesser Scaup (& 4 other undetermined Scaup. Three appeared to be Lessers but the fourth, the smallest appeared to be Greater!!)<br> - 1 G. Yellowlegs (heard)<br> - 1 A. Coot<br> - 70 Blackbirds (mixed flocks of R/W & Grackles)<br> - Yellow-rumped Warblers, Swamp Sparrow (2) & Song Sparrows.<br><br> <u>Parkers Cove</u> <br> - 15-20 Black-legged Kittiwakes<br> - 2+ Bonaparte Gulls<br> - 2 C. Loons<br> - 2 Gannets (adults)<br> - 9 Harlequin Ducks (flying)<br> - a few Black & W/W Scoters<br> - 5 Surf Scoters<br><br> <u>Hampton</u> <br> - a number of Kittiwakes (to the west)<br> - 3 Red-throated Loons<br> - 4 Red-necked Grebes<br> - 4 Common Loons<br> - 1 fem. Black Scoter<br> - 5 White-winged Scoters<br> - 4 Red-breasted Mergansers<br> - ~10 Surf Scoters<br> - ~50 Scoter sp.<br><br> <u>East of Hampton<br><br> </u>- 1 Kestrel<br> - 1 Harrier<br><br> At Port George & Margaretsville, very little.
