Went for a trip down the Eastern Shore on Sunday. We saw at least 3 Great Blue Heron along the shore. Just over Burnside there was a lovely adult Bald Eagle. Ah, but to the point... On the way out to Clam Harbour Beach there was a long frog/toad crossing the road. He slowly made it across the road where there was a little bog waiting for him. I guess it's not too late for them, but it was that cold wind that made me thing otherwise. Finally, in the parking lot of Sherbrook Village there was a small flock of Canadian Geese. What amazes me is that we managed to completely miss the 8 Black Bear feeding in a field in East St. Mary's!! Cheers, Ann M.
