Hello birders and especially the wonderful group I met on brier

The Digby Courier article about the birding trip to Brier Island is online
at NovaNewsNow.com ( a new 24/7 news source for western nova scotia)

 http://novanewsnow.com/article-41744-Birders-flock-to-Brier.html

thanks to everyone for putting up with my questions and incessant camera
clicking. i really learned a lot and had my eyes opened in many ways - i
hope to join you again soon when my schedule allows.

the saltscapes article (more detailed and with the better photos) will
hopefully appear next fall.
but i am hoping someone could help with a couple of bird photos

as the south polar skua was the highlight of the pelagic trip, i think the
article would be the better for a photo of one. the same goes for the broad
winged hawk - i am looking for a photo of the hawk/hawks up close and a
decent shot of a kettle.
any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

as well anyone who wants to answer three questions for me, would have me
forever in their debt -
1. why do you bird? do you remember when/ how/ why you got hooked?
2. highlight birding experience on brier?
3.piece of advice for someone interested in beginning birding?

please email me at jriley@digbycourier.ca

thanks a heap
