For some reason this message to NatureNS was returned undelivered? to me, so here it is perhaps again? Sorry for any duplication. --------------- October 1, 2006 - Pat and I did a bit of a walk at Hartlenıs Point, where there were LOTS OF COLOURFUL BERRIES of mountain-ash, witherod, and Canada holly. We also walked the coastal boardwalk at Eastern Passage/Fishermanıs Cove, but no particular sightings there. Oct. 5, 2006 - New Minas Ducks Unlimited Pond (adjacent to Cornwallis River): 1 f/imm SCAUP swimming and diving with a light-coloured 1 f/imm RING-NECKED DUCK, plus 3 mallards and 3 black ducks.
