Field trip organised by Halifax Field Naturalists:

		MOSSES - SATURDAY 16 SEPTEMBER

Join Anne Mills on a field trip to look for mosses. We will visit Indian
Path, approximately 10 minutes past Lunenburg. Indian Path Common
comprises a mixed forest of hardwoods, shrubs, and conifers. Trails are
for hiking only and the terrain is moderately challenging. Those who
appreciate relatively undisturbed wild areas will be pleased with this
little gem. Bring a hand lens with 10x magnification if you have one,
lunch, beverages. Sturdy footwear is recommended. Optionally -
afterwards, stay for a leisurely, informal afternoon walk to Hirtle's
Beach and maybe to Gaff Point (some 10 minutes from Indian Path).
