Evening presentation of Halifax Field Naturalists:

NEARBY MOUNTAINS - THURSDAY 7 SEPTEMBER

Join Peter Webster for a look at the beautiful and breathtaking mountain
ranges surrounding our province. Nova Scotia and most of Atlantic Canada
are surrounded by the great Appalachian chain. This presentation will
look at the landscape, geology, and unique natural history of the
mountains near us. These include New Hampshire's White Mountains, the
Katahdin massif in central Maine, Mt. Jacques Cartier, the Chic Choc range
of Quebec's Gaspe, and Newfoundland's Long Range mountains.

7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History,
1747 Summer Street, Halifax.

All are welcome!
