They apparently did not know what they had caught. For anyone who does want to fish for them, a steel leader is essential because of their razor sharp teeth which can easily chomp a finger off the unwary. When they are feeding almost anything will catch them but a chunk of Mackerel or blue and white surface plug usually works best. They do not freeze well but are delicious fresh on the Barbeque.
