From a young age, Richard has had an interest in magic along with its hidden workings. He liked to fool his friends with simple tricks learned from kid's science and magic booklets.
As an adult, he went on to work in Canada's Atlantic Provinces with a variety of magicians, mentalists, hypnotists, jugglers and related performers, most often as being lighting designer\director, but also in other capacities such as audio tech.
In the past 30 years, he has belonged to two magic groups: The Conjurers' Court and its successor, the Halifax Magic Club -- both based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
