Volunteer
Tutor and Volunteer Opportunities
Are you interested in becoming a volunteer tutor? Do you have 2-3 hours a week where you would like to help someone improve his or her abilities in:
- Reading.
- Writing.
- Spelling.
- Math.
- Basic computer skills.
We provide you with the proper training, resources, and ongoing support to become a tutor. Our volunteer tutors find the experience personally rewarding. Just a few hours a week can make a big difference in someone's life!
Becoming a volunteer tutor is easy. Simply fill out a tutor registration form, mail it or drop it off, and we'll quickly contact you. You can also pick up a tutor registration form at our address.
What about other Volunteer Opportunities?
We also require volunteers to help with our:
- Fundraising activities such as benefit concerts and book sales.
- Newsletter and website.
- Administrative tasks such as photocopying.
- Public relations.
- Volunteer Board of Directors.
