Index of Subjects Hi Glen. I'm the person in the office you spoke to. To go over what I said to you: 1. We don't save deleted attachments. 2. We delete certain high-risk attachments automatically since this protects most people who otherwise would be at the mercy of attachments harboring trojans or other malware. This policy has been in place for years now. 3. You can have your email attachment sent to you using a different compression scheme such as used by the very common WinRar. http://www.rarlab.com 4. You can use a different mail account to receive the attachment. 5. We cannot alter these mail filter settings on a per-user basis. 6. Both docx and zip files are vectors for malware so we are not letting them through. Experienced users can use different file extensions while unexperienced users are protected from one click infections. I offered you three different solutions to your problem. And my name is Andrew Wright, the same Andrew Wright who has been manning the Chebucto office for some thirteen years now.
