*** Given that you can access your mail via the CCN Home Page, I
would say that the problem is a password setting in Thunderbird, or
possibly is malware looking for your mail password.
Regarding the former, have you changed any settings lately? As for
the latter, I would do a thorough cleanup and a virus patrol of your
system.
You might also query a newsgroup or Internet forum to see if anyone
else has written about this problem.
