Despite a delay in its online production, we managed to get this issue out just in time for Spring! On a more sombre note, we sadly acknowledge the passing of Tooker Gomberg (August 12, 1955 - March 3, 2004), a tremendous advocate for active transportation in Canada. After moving to Halifax in early September of 2003 with his wife, Angela Bischoff, he became an active participant in the Transportation Issues Committee of the Ecology Action Centre. In the brief time he spent in Halifax, he contributed greatly to raising awareness about and advocating for cycling and other forms of active transportation. For more information on Tooker's life and work, see http://www.greenspiration.org/. ____________________________________________________________________________ Did a friend forward this to you?
