On all accounts they are an abomination -- horrible mileage, huge amount of materials in them, dangerous to other vehicles on the road, reinforcing the wrong idea about car ownership, and the military connection is worse....what next, machine guns mounted on them? Why can't we all have an Abrams tank to drive, wouldn't that make us safer?
