Hello!

It looks like the Gorsebrook Gardens Project is a go!

The North End Community Gardening Association (NECGA) is breaking ground on
a new community garden project in the South End of Halifax. Located off
Wellington Street near Peter Green Hall, the garden will feature a number of
raised bed vegetable gardens and native trees and shrubs.

While the official opening won't be until the end of May, we are planning to
have a group work day on Tuesday, May 13 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM to begin
preparing the site. Representatives from the Resource Recovery Fund Board
will also be on hand to kick off the Plant-A-Row/Grow-A-Row Program for
2003.

If you'd like to help out we'd love to see you there!

Give us a call or visit our website for more information.

Come help us grow!
