Facilitating Small Groups April 6-11 Sun. 7 pm - Fri. 1 pm “Learn to do by doing!” Improve your facilitation with a greater understanding of group dynamics, stages of group development, group decision-making and problem-solving. This mid-level course builds on the Tatamagouche model of educational design and uses a democratic, experiential and "strength-based" approach to learning. Leadership: Wilf Bean, Program Director, holds a doctorate in Community Psychology and has conducted workshops in emancipatory adult education and participatory development in many Southern countries. He is also an associate staff member with Coady International Institute, St. Francis Xavier University. Marg Brown is a therapist, consultant, adult educator and mediator, recently becoming qualified to administer and interpret the Myers-Brigg Type Indicator.
