Are you interested in meeting people who work to preserve Nova Scotia’s Environment? If so, mark your calendars today. In mid-September the Nova Scotia Environment Network will hold its Annual Fall Gathering. The Gathering includes individuals from environment and conservation groups in the province as well as concerned citizens. The event takes place this year from September 13 - 15 at the Dorje Denma Ling Retreat just South of Tatamagouche. There will be environmental workshops and guest speakers on oceans, forests, climate change and energy, sustainable agriculture, health, youth initiatives and more. At the gathering you’ll also be treated to wholesome organic and locally grown foods as well as home grown art, theatre, music and children’s activities. The cost for two nights accommodation and 5 meals is $60.00 for adults, $50.00 for students and $80.00 for business or government.
