CHIEF TO APPEAL LOGGING DECISION

OIL COMPANIES MAY WIN TO DUMP WASTE AT SEA
Nova Scotia government regulators want to relax environmental standards to
allow natural gas rigs to dump waste off the province's coast. The change
would save the oil companies millions every time they drill a well. The
proposal has environmentalists worried.
