The Ad hoc Planning group of Mainland South is holding a planning charrette on Saturday Feb. 2 from 9 to 1pm, at the Capt. William Spry Community Ctr-10 Kidston Rd. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the type of community we would like to have, and in particular what forms of development we want to see, and where they should be located. This is an opportunity not just for environmentalists, but for community activists of all types. Development, both good and bad, will impact our communities in many ways, and for many years to come. This charrette offers us the first step in creating a more sustainable Mainland South-from the armdale rotary to Sambro. We hope to see you there. For further information, call 479-4487. -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- END OF MESSAGE.
