Yes, it's CKDU's annual funding drive again. There are many reasons to donate. Please consider making a contribution to the only campus-community radio in Halifax, the only alternative to mainstream radio, and radio that is of the community, by the community and for the community. The funding drive raises about a third of CKDU's operating budget. There's lots of prizes that you can get (see below), as well as events to attend over the next week (more info below). Please support CKDU in whatever way you can! Below is a plea for money for my radio show, but you don't have to contribute to my particular show. Feel free to call the pledge line yourself at 494-2779 (49-HAPPY) and make a donation to CKDU in general or to any other show. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them, or check out CKDU's website: ckdu.dal.ca Lilli ----------------------------------------------------------------- Yeah, yeah... it's that time of year again! I'm trying to raise some moulah for my show on CKDU which is called "The Perky Early Morning Show." I'm looking for as many pledges as possible. Remember there's always some cool stuff that you can get (all the details below). AND THIS YEAR... I'm offering a mixed CD of the best of the best of perky pop! This for a $20 pledge. Here is some of the stuff on it so far: Belly, Lush, Plumtree, Cub, Piggy, Luscious Jackson, Chappie, Fantastic Plastic Machine, Le Tigre... It's an awesome perky cd, but I know if played excessively, it might annoy some of you... but what the hey! Whenever you need your perky fix, you'll have this cd. Anyway, the deal is this: you can pledge an amount now, and you have until March 14 to pay to qualify for the Grand Prizes Draw. Hope you'll think about pledging... just email me the amount and your mailing address! Mucho thanks! Lilli p.s. you can also go to the website for more info: ckdu.dal.ca -------------------------------------------------------------------- WHY YOU SHOULD DIAL & DONATE!
