Book Launch and Public Presentation with co-author Oronto Douglas.

Tuesday November 13, 7-9pm. Tupper Building, Theatre B, Dalhousie
University.  Local Oil & Gas and Shell activists will be speaking as well.

mauled by Big Business and military dictatorship. Okonta and Douglas have

Please note, Mr. Douglas will also be speaking at the Dalhousie Law Hour
series on Tuesday November 13, 12-1pm.  Law Building, Room 105, Dalhousie
University.

Oronto Douglas is Nigeria's leading environmental human rights lawyer.  He
is Deputy Director of Environmental Rights Action/Friends of the Earth
Nigeria, and has been a visiting lecturer and speaker at community-organized
events, international conferences, and universities all over the world.
Douglas was a member of the legal team that represented Ken Saro-Wiwa before
he was executed by the Nigerian military junta in November 1995.
