Subject: FTAA Schedule etc.

Howdy, folks!

The FTAA day is looking great. So great, in fact, that the day has
expanded from the original seven hours to TWELVE HOURS focussing on the
FTAA, free trade, and globalisation. The day will now begin at 10:30 a.m.
and end at 10:30 p.m. Thanks to the programmers who agreed to have their
regular show pre-empted on rather short notice. As for the posters with
the start time listed as noon, well, if you see one posted or took some to
put up, feel free to fix them.

So I've been tweaking this schedule on and off today, and here's what I've
come up with.

10:30-11:00	Jaggi Singh & CLAC people on the FTAA in general
11:00-11:15	Steve Staples on the FTAA (Jonathan Surovell)
11:15-11:30	Text Liberation Carnival (Antoni Wysocki)
11:30-12:00	The Promise and the Wilderness Part One (Irondale play)
12:00-1:00	agriculture and food (Lyse Boyce)
1:00-2:00	various thoughts Andrea MacNevin/Jana Samoleski
2:00-3:00	the arts (David Henry)
3:00-3:30	The Promise and the Wilderness Part Two (Irondale)
3:30-4:00	trade deals (Cliff White)
4:00-4:30	Alexa McDonough interview (Eva Madden)
4:30-4:45	Raging Grannies (various grannies)
4:45-5:00	The Red Wolves (Irondale)
5:00-5:30	The Promise and the Wilderness Part Three (Irondale)
5:30-6:15	FTAA field guide (Eva Madden)
6:15-6:45	Juan Tellez on FTAA and Latin America (Tim Bood)
6:45-7:15	Zapatistas (Chris Arsenault)
7:15-8:00	Cuba and the Cuban Ambassador (Isaac Saney)
8:00-8:05	Patrick Bond on South Africa (Jonathan Surovell)
8:05-9:00	panel discussion on future of anti-globalisation movement
with Brian O'Neill (Oxfam), Tony Seed (Shunpiking), Isaac
Saney (CKDU etc.), other panelist still pending, and
		moderator Antoni Wysocki (CKDU etc.)
9:00-9:30	The Promise and the Wilderness Part Four (Irondale)
9:30-10:30	protest music (MobGlobbers Laura, Tamsen, Spencer)

In addition to all of these programmes, there are several carts that can
be played throughout the day, including:

- "Corporations Incorporated" subvertisement (Shannon Lynch, Paul
Shreenan, Lilli Ju, Julianne MacKenzie, Stacey Willick)
- "Globesanto" subvertisement (Paul Shreenan, Shannon Lynch)
- "FTAA Survivor" subvertisement (Paul Shreenan, Lilli Ju, Justin Ju,
	Stacey Willick)
- 7 different Radical Cheerleaders songs (all on the same cart)
- streeters (What do you know about the FTAA, thoughts on protesting,
thoughts on the security measures in Quebec City, thoughts on free trade)

Thanks, all.

Stacey Willick
Spoken Word Coordinator, CKDU
