The PEI Eco-Net will be hosting a youth conference September 22-24, 2000 at Camp Buchan, Point Prim, PEI. Youth Action:Promoting Positive Change will explore a variety of environmental, health and social issues including sustainable forestry, pesticides and health, petroleum exploration in East coast waters, critical consumerism and more! Young people (ages 15-30) from the Atlantic provinces are invited to learn about and discuss these issues. Registration cost is $20 per person and includes accomodations (camping or bunk) and all meals (prepared with organic ingredients). Travel subsidies are available.
