excuse me, but for those of you who don't know, shell oil funds murder, repression, and exploitation in nigeria, and other countries. shell props up it's image by giving environmental groups money, and other forms of greenwashing such as hiring public relations companies to spread lies and counter truths about their role in murders, and many other misdeeds. before anyone decides to apply for money from shell, i would strongly urge you to contact me or MOSOP (movement of solidarity for the ogoni people) and borrow the video "in memory of ken saro-wiwa", or feel free to ask me for copies of military documents ordering wasting operations, and other incriminating evidence. november 10, next tuesday, is the third anniversary of hanging of ken saro-wiwa and the 8 other ogoni activists. let us remember what they and thousands of other ogoni have died for, and not make their deaths in vain by propping up shell's image. "...We all stand before history. I and my colleagues are not the only ones on trial. Shell is on trial here... its day will surely come... there is no doubt in my mind that the ecological war the company has waged in the delta will be called to question... and the crimes of that war be duly punished. The crime of the company's dirty wars against the Ogoni people will also be punished."
