Index of Subjects If you wish to get pesitcides out of your neighborhoods, Phone the PRIEMIER OF NOVA SCOTIA THIS WEEK at 424 6600. He needs to know how we feel. Please phone this week, perferably on Mon or Tues. Instead of jurisdiction over pesticides that was requested by the Halifax Regional Municipality, all the Government is offering is the right for the Municipality to have a mandatory warning system for those who have their a medical certificate of need! They have not looked at the problem of where the people are going to go when someone uses pesticides that are drifting into their homes or if anyone is going to get compensated, or what happens to those who can't leave, or how this going to protect all our children and our future children. The reason for not giving jurisdiction is that they are worried about the profit margin of a hardware store that sells pesticides!
