hi all, i've been away for awhile. I'm writing to ask if someone can bring me up to date on what Her Majesty's loyal opposition (the NS provincial NDP) is doing/saying about the environment. I was disapointed that the recent NDP newsletter made no mention of the environment (unless you count a mention of the importance of the coal industry to our economy!). There was a brief mention of the fishing crisis, but even that was referred to as a 'human tragedy'. And are the rumours true that the NDP supported the BTK spraying? I'm hoping not. Anyway ... i'd be grateful to hear people's impressions on how the NDP are doing at representing future generations. With so many good people in the NDP caucus(s) it's hard to believe there isn't more going on, environmentally. Please let me know what i'm missing ... :)
