Index of Subjects Good morning, Here is my two cents worth on RCS, representing a non-technical IP. I edit the CHPNA website, especially the bulletin boards, almost daily, and always do it online. I have never kept any backups of any of the CHPNA website on my computer, as I always knew that if somehow it ever crashed, there was a back-up system on CCN. However, having said that, I have never had a clue how to use RCS and my few attempts at it were unsuccessful. I believe it was mentioned rapidly in passing in my IP training years ago, but as it isn't something I use regularly, I didn't learn how to use it. A couple of years ago when I made extensive revisions, Carlos told me I had to remove all of the old files from RCS, and did so for me. Recently, I tried to do this, I got a message that the files could not be deleted -- so I have a lot of RCS dead wood in both the CHPNA site and the CCN Health pages. One time last year I did delete a lot of pages on the CHPNA site and then wanted to retrieve them. Though I knew they were in RCS, I couldn't figure out how to get them back into usable form, so did without them. So, all this to say, that I think having a backup of files on CCN is a valuable feature, and I would like to see that continued, but RCS has never been useful to me as it is too complicated for non-technical IPs like myself. Thanks for the opportunity to have my say!
