This is another very interesting statistical 'snapshot'. Thnaks David for
doing it! I'll comment further when I have more time, however, for the
time being ...

I do indeed maintain the site and as David notes 55/57 pages have real
<Meta> tags (drat, how did I miss two ...). Interesting in this context is
that, as per David's last analysis, the NHR site with 12,721 URL
hits/month to HTML pages is the 7th most popular site on the CCN;
remarkable considering the relatively small number of pages.

Now, although I might want to claim that this is solely attributable to
the excellent quality of the pages, and the work I've done registering the
site on various search engines, etc. ;-> it does, however, seem not
unreasonable to think that some of this traffic is as a result of very
assiduous use of <Meta> tags. Hence this may be a good object lesson for
IPs of how making good use of this feature can really have an impact on
the visibility of one's site.
