greetings,

Well I have a few problems with the installation on
RH5.2, I got some weird errors right at the beginning of the french package
install. LIke so:

cs_install lynx.mo

Is this normal?

Also I installed csuite once on 5.2 and everything worked
fine. Now at the end of all this install. I noticed the pw file
wasn't shadowed. Now the ftp and http and everything else
seemed to be working quite fine.

But I used convpw to convert to shadow pw format. And
all of a sudden ftp isn't working. Now I am aware that it may
have caused certain programs not to be compiled with shadow
support the first time. So I deleted the install and started over.
But to my dismay.. i still can't login by ftp. I get:

Connected, waiting for response...
Server closed control connection.
Delaying for 10 seconds before reconnect...

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know these are just
small problems and I am working right now on moving the
web site and all our old databases (external web DISCUS
wwwboard etc..)

Getting ready to install on our real server.

So thanks for your help and I am looking forward to hearing
from you.

Andy
