Just bear with me, people. Playing around with the homepage gives my brain a rest from the paperwork. Visit: http://chebucto.ns.ca/~Mark/CCN This attempts to deal with limited-space issues. The graphic banner is higher and more prominent. The CCN Webmail fields are moved into the horizontal colour bar, maintaining functionality while reclaiming that BIG space lost with its current position. On a 600x800 screen (under Netscape), the links to neighbourhood accounts, etc. are visible at the bottom of the window. Under Internet Exploder, the default font size screws everything up. I'd appreciate feedback from Windows users as to the display under both browsers on that platform. The usual disclaimer: This is not intended as a suggested replacement. I'm just exploring design possibilities for the homepage. Are your mental juices flowing yet?
