Subject: ?? IP Agreement for Chezz'cook Historical Society

When I went to file the new IP Agreement for Chezzetcook
Historical Society, you can imagine my surprise when I discovered that
there was already an IP Agreement from them there. Checking the IPDB,
surprise turned to astonishment when after reading this March 15 exchange
between Diane Cooper and Chris Majka:

--Diane Cooper
> If the Chezzetcook Historical Society's IP agreement and payment is
> missing, assuming it has been sent in, then I can understand their
> concern.

--Chris Majka
Actually, my assumption is that it has not been sent. The Office is
usually pretty quick in marking these IP Agreements as having been
received. I think they've just neglected to do this and my communications
of yesterday to Brad Sweet will (presumably and hopefully) be passed on to
the appropriate people who will move on it. We really do need (for both
technical and legal reasons) an IP Agreement in place before we create
the site.

--- I check the IPDB and see that the IP Agreement and a payment for $100
were in fact marked received by the office on January 24, 2000.

And of course astonishment was scarcely enough to describe my
feelings when going through my sent mail folder for the time period I
find:

IP Agreement received for ip-1593 Chezzetcook Historical Society.

I hope that this helps clear some things up.
