Andrew, I believe you made a serious error in accepting this document. It should
have been turned away. Unlike loosely organized voluntary organizations, limited
companies sporting an Ltd. after their name warrant special consideration, and
due care.
I checked out Triad Film Productions Ltd. etc, etc. on the web, and its
President is Peter d'Entremont of Halifax. Since he is available locally, I
would think he should sign any business agreement betweeen his company and
Chebucto Community Net.
This is especially important since Triad is a limited company and can without a
formal binding signature easily avoid the consequences of any CCN claim against
them.
I checked them out in the Registry of Joint Stock Companies of Nova Scotia web
site, and at
http://www.gov.ns.ca/bacs/rjsc/idc/rjs-peop.idc
found that Peter d'Entremont is the only signing officer for Triad.
