'very close' was the wrong characterization on my part.... for this to take place we would need: 1) improvements to our Chebucto Plus to make it a truely high speed service. This would free the medium speed (28.8/33.6) C+ modems for regular dial-up/ppp. We're doing very preliminary investigations on the financial (costing) end... including the possibility of using our charitable status to improve the financial picture (it's quite expensive) 2) development of a new product service model/pricing (entry level PPP) 3) technical testing of actual service (the software we're using for regular dialup is currently being used for this at other sites). We are very close only in the sense that there seems to be a reasonably clear (unobstructed) technical path towards this, there remains a need to identify a financial/marketing path for the organization that supports the technical 'opportunity'. david potter On Wed, 9 Jun 1999, Mark Rushton wrote: > Hi everyone, > > Here are the minutes of today's meeting.
